item 5920 at drummaker's site might work.

You know you can bend the arms pretty easily to modify them.

I find a big bench vice helpful. If you dont have one, bring a can of cheap domestic beer
over to your nearest roughneck neighbor.

Or maybe challenge him to bend it by hand.

I can't believe a a drummer would do that to another drummer. I cant believe an astronaut would do that to another astronaut. I cant believe an inmate wouold do that to another inmate. can't believe a politician would do that to another politician. etc. It's nice when we form tribes on the net, but...

Hey John,
I'm not clear on this one;
In the sound sample it sounds like the drummer is alternating the snare and jingle sounds.
How are the jingles activated?
And what do they mean by " rubber playing surface"
and can this really be played by hand"?

sidekick is cool for sure.
Gives you some good set up options.
I dont have the extra $ to throw at one right now.

Im also liking not having to set up the brackets each time on gigs.

Maybe you can try one out at the store with a floor tom.

thanks. I really like that more and more vendors and manufactures have sound samples posted. That snare sure sounds teeny. I like how the description implies you could use it in place of a 12 inch snare. Uh, don't think so. The part before the snares are engaged sound like a cross between a bongo an...

Sounds like you are living up to your name! I was lucky enough to find a sidekick in a local store and it just clamps on to a floor tom leg. Anybody else here have one? Inspired by the construction section of this site, i just reversed a pulse and i'm using gravity and a small rug to hold it togethe...

Couldn't you just adjust the spring tension on your pedal? You might want to try a few different pedals and beaters, if you can. You could try different heads. I'd cut holes as a last resort, myself. I have to say,16ths on a cocktail is hard! I salute you! I find i'm playing simpler bass parts when ...
