14x26"bass drum & yup
i do still own these!
the 20" china is a zildijian "china boy high" as it is printed on the cymbal, I think it must be from the 70's.
I've had it since the late 70's I think.

my radio kings

The last pic are my old radio kings. I picked up the bass & snare as a set at a flea market about 20 years ago for the lofty sum of $50.00. They are a student set that was black & silver duco laquer originally, but when I bought them they were painted over in blue sparkle spray paint, hardwa...

one thing i do miss about a regular set of drums............

hiya Bruce, I replaced the rope with vinyl coated aircraft cable because mine was fraying also. It works pretty well & is way more durable! Under $1.00 worth of the cable is all ya need. I also stripped out the thing that holds the cable to the beater. I just connected the cable directly & j...

Hi everybody. I finally recieved the new (to me ) drum. It is really dark blue, it looks purple in a strong light! It has no center seam or ring, & no snare either. Looks like a factory muffler though. ??? well I gues they never did standardize anything with these cocktails?? Another project! Wh...

the f holes were left over from some I made for a banjo player friend of mine. He had drawn some on his banjo head & they looked cool, but all of his bands equipment including his banjo were stolen after a gig in Chicago. They replaced all of thier quipment & I asked him if he was gonna get ...

balances pretty good still

I am surprised , but it doesn't budge in any direction imbalance wise! ??? seems like it should tip, but I have been beating the crap out of it on a daily basis & still seems to be cool. I think the velcro & extra leg & rug maybe the thing holding it up!??
