the band kept complaining that they couldn't hear my cocktail bass drum, so what the hell i figured, they'll hear this one!!!!

Hiya John, Great idea, I was looking at that too! The multiple cocktail idea for a set of more than one main tall drum needs the 16" diameter drum too, I bought a Ludwig 16" miami beach drum & it was perfect to be the floor tom & one bass drum, my 14" was the snare & a sec...

Hiya, I have 2 dw sidekicks & a dw 5000 reversed. The sidekicks have a wobble problem only when they are not adjusted properly. Otherwise they are solid as can be. The dw 5000 reversed is my favorite one. The heel blocks & toe weights make such a big difference! The side kicks are great if y...

Hiya Brian, I do like it , it is very responsive, but i have already abandoned it in favor of the sound of the main drum top snare. In experimenting I discovered the small snare can't get a good cross stick rim shot sound, & the main snare sound to me is so much fatter. I was considering selling...

coool, I've been giggin with mine now as a general rule! I really like it better than a conventional set. The looks from other drummers just kill me. they stare & cock their heads to the side & stare some more. I enjoy standing too now.

I also have a side snare I tried using, but I think I like my main drums fat snare sound much better than the gretsch blackhawk 10" snare drum I bought. the little snare sounds good, but the main drum sounds so much better I switched back already. I guess it depends on what kind of music you ar...
